Since 2002, the Stem Cell Network North Rhine-Westphalia organizes its International Meeting every two years. With regularly more than 600 participants, this is one of the largest congresses in this field of research in Europe. The Stem Cell Network NRW brings together stem cell research activities using a unique, transdisciplinary approach and interconnects them nationally and globally. The focus lies on promoting early career researchers, translating research results into biomedical applications, and conducting research into the ethical, legal, and social-scientific implications of stem cell research as well as communicating this in politics and society.
